Best Coffee Maker Review 2020
There's something no home should be without, and that's a GREAT coffee maker. I've tried lots of different coffee makers, from regular, inexpensive drip coffee makers to those pod kinds, but none of them made great coffee. So, I started looking around for a really good coffee maker, and read the reviews. I've been really, really happy about the one I finally picked. I've been using it for over a year, and I can't say enough good things about it. If you're a "caffeine achiever" like I am, you're definitely going to want to check out this review.

Highest Rated Drip Coffee Maker
The number one thing about the OXO drip coffee maker is that it makes great-tasting cofee easy. It's true that different coffee beans taste different. It's also true that the same beans ground with different coffee grinders taste different. But I've tried the same beans ground with the same burr coffee grinder, and just brewed in different coffee makers, and I'm here to tell you, that the OXO coffee maker is the best brewed coffee I've ever had at home.

Makes Great-Tasting Coffee Easy
This coffee maker is a easy to use and makes great-tasting coffee. Like most drip coffee makers, you pour water in the reservoir, put ground coffee in the basket, and turn it on. Unlike most coffee makers, the OXO coffee maker uses a well-designed shower controlled by a built-in computer to properly "pour over" water heated to the exact right temperature over the grounds at the right pace. This results in a super smooth cup of coffee. When I wake up to it, it's like I've woken up in a 5 Star Hotel.
OXO BREW 9 Cup Coffee Maker
Amazon is usually cheaper and if you have PRIME you can get two-day free delivery, but if it's out of stock there, you can find it for a little more (plus shipping) at OXO.

Easy to Use, Quiet & Fits Under Cabinets!
Like most coffee makers, you can run it immediately or set it up to brew your coffee right before you wake up! Either way, you set it up pretty much like most drip coffee makers. Add ground coffee to the filter and put it in the bin. Add water to the reservoir. (Filtered water works best.) Place the carafe under the bin, and turn on the coffee maker. Whether you're brewing immediately or setting a brew cycle for later, you'll need to select 2-4 cups or 5-9 cups. All of the OXO coffee maker's controls are built into one knob that turns and pushes in like a button. Like most drip coffee makers, you can remove the carafe before the brew cycle is done to pour yourself a cup of coffee.
Extra Stuff - Descaler and Permanent Filter
When you buy an OXO coffee maker, you'll probably want to buy a couple of other key items. A permanent filter, and a bottle of OXO descaling solution.
Maintenance and Cleaning
This coffee maker is pretty easy to maintain. You can wash all of the parts, except the base unit, of course, and the carafe in the dishwasher. Once every couple of months, the machine will tell you it needs to be de-scaled, and that's a pretty easy process. Amazon sells descaling powders, and OXO has it's own pre-made descaling solution you can see here.

Conclusion - Highly Recommend
Coffee at home with the OXO coffee maker is like drinking coffee at breakfast at an actual Five Star hotel. It's super smooth and never bitter. I can't recommend it enough. If you're still using an old, stand-by drip coffee maker, you owe it to yourself to try the OXO 9-cup drip coffee maker.
